Watch The 2014 Cadenza Launching Event At The 2013 NAIAS

Kia Motors America took the wraps of its all-new Cadenza premium sedan at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.

The all-new Cadenza, which replaces the 2013 Kia Optima SXL as the range topping Kia model in the USA, incorporates the carmaker’s latest design language, with the “Tiger Nose” grille up front, and angled, wraparound tail-lights on the back.

Powering the 2014 Cadenza sedan is Kia’s in-house developed 3.3L direct-injection V6 engine that generates 293 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque.

The power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission that also features a Sportmatic manual.

Kia’s new flagship model offers a ton of technology and premium features including UVO infotainment system, smart key keyless entry with push-button start, ventilated rear seats, advanced smart cruise control, blind spot detection, lane departure warning system and many others.

Kia Cadenza was put on display at the 2013 NAIAS alongside other new Kia vehicles such as Forte sedan 2014 (Model Year), updated Sorento CUV, Soul Green Lantern and customized Optima with Batman emblems.
