  1. I am so used to driving my Sedona and the Amanti that every other Kia I drive has a suspension that is WAY too tight. The Sedona and Amanti ride like old-school Buicks. Soft and absorb every bump.

  2. For the next Sorento to be successful it has to have a 3rd row. I would like to see it be flexible like the Rio was but lets get an extended wheel base please to compete with the Explorers and Traverses of the world.

  3. I got happy about New Mario U and Pikmin 3, but I guess Nintendo could spend more time demonstrating their gameplay… Also I would like to see some Smash Bros U footage (which Reggie spoke again to be under development…).

  4. Kia Canada had another record month selling 8,460 vehicles in May, the first time they have exceeded 8,000 units in one month. YTD up 22.1%; Top seller Foret, followed by Rio, Optima and then Sorento.

  5. I love my 2012 Sportage. I’m very surprised it’s not selling better. Best looking small SUV on the road, IMO.

  6. lack of marketing for the sportage..

Hamsters for the Soul… Sorrento is Yo Gabba Gabba. and THe optima has the quirky but Effective Superbowl commercial..

The Sportage bears no meaning to the consciousness of the American Psyche. That is why the Sportage is not selling well.. Selling a car is an art.. The meaning to the buyer of a car is everything. the 3 pointed Star means everything to the Luxury Buyer. Even, if Mercedes became a hideous beast that were unreliable, Many luxury car buyers would still by that Mercedes regardless of how the car actually looks and performs.

Psychology is everything to selling items and manipulating people

  7. sagittarius: So True! Speaking of which, here in the U.S. was accomplished quite well by both Karl Rove and his Super Pac, American Crossroads as well as the “Billionaire” Koch Brothers, sponsors of the “Tea Party” who were able to use the same manipulation tactics to get both the Middle Class and Poor to Vote (against) their own self interests, to benefit the Ultra Rich and Corporate America, “The Job Creators” outsourcing the (Jobs) overseas, destroying the Unions so that most Americans will be able to pursue their dream of working for minimum wage with little or no benefits. The (good) news is that they will still permit Americans to retain their Guns and Bibles and get rid of the (Darkie) out of “their” White House”. Congratulations on a job well done. Off Topic for sure, but infinitely of more importance then what Kia Sportage sales and the American (psyche) are tied to.

  8. Got the new Sportage EX, loaded with the 20 inch wheels, vista roof. It’s great, love it. If the Sorento is just a little too big, and you don’t have a family but want an SUV type vehicle, this is the one for you. I had the previous model too, but this is a whole different animal.
