The 2023 Kia Soul offers a wide variety of color combinations, but purple is not available.
We regularly have visitors to the website contact us looking for help in buying a new Kia car.
Recently, we were contacted by a woman looking to purchase a brand-new 2023 Kia Soul. She knew that was the car that she wanted, but she needed help tracking one down with a purple exterior paint job.
We hated to be the bearer of bad news, but we had to let her know that Kia does not make a production model of the Kia Soul in the purple color.
The good news, though, was that she was more excited to hear about some of the other dazzling colors that the Souls comes in: the Solar Yellow, Inferno Red, Caribbean Blue, and Alien Green, to name just a few.
We also let her know that the 2023 Kia Soul also comes with a a number of two-tone color options.
While we would recommend that she gets into a Soul as soon as possible, she may want to hold off if the rumors we here are to be believed.
The upgraded Kia Soul will be released sometime in late 2022, and there is talk that purple color may be included in that model. When Kia releases refreshed models, new exterior colors are often added, with purple certainly being a possibility.
While this is just specualtion on our part, Kia has shown an affinity for the color purple in the past.
They unveiled a Kia Soul DJ concept (pictured above) at SEMA a few years back, and as you can see, it came in a glorious shade of purple. How cool would that thing look out on the road?
That’s not the only sad news, maybe the new model will restore it but the Slovakian built Sportage has dropped “Techno Orange” as a colour option, at least in the cars exported to Australia. Bit of a bummer as that was an attractive and popular option.

Just saw the latest Kia ad! There was a purple one shown in the ad. I have a 2014 Solar Yellow and would trade it in, in a heartbeat for a real purple one! I’m a purple girl who would LOVE her soul to be PURPLE!!!
Kia should not tease us purple lovers. if it’s in the TV ad, it should be on their lots for sale. I also have an Alien green one and would trade it in, in a heart beat! Purple PLEASE!

There is a purple Kia on the commercial. This is like false advertising! You should offer a purple one. I would buy it in a heartbeat!
Purple! Purple! Purple! Yes I have been looking for years for a purple car. The one I own now is custom painted purple, it is very old and now need a new one. Nobody has one. I was thrilled to see the purple one in your commercial. I’m ready to buy now. So glad you will be selling them soon. When you do I will be first in line! Can’t wait.

My wife and I are in the process of having our 2017 Soul painted a beautiful pearl metalflake purple. She was tired of the canned boring colors that the manufacturers were putting out and we looked into custom paint. This thing is going to be stunning. We will be on the road in Texas with it next week. Can’t wait!
As awesome as the colors are……it gets tedious. Have 88k on current Soul……which I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ But would trade in a heartbeat for purple
