Soul EV October 2014 Sales Figures – USA, Canada

Kia fans and our fellow readers have probably noticed that the latest Kia sales report for the month of October 2014 published here hasn’t included the Soul EV sales numbers.

Although the vehicle went on sale at the beginning of October, Kia hasn’t announced the figures for the EV model and only provided the number of gas-powered Souls sold in the USA.

While the Soul EV sales figures weren’t available initially, we have now received the actual sales figures for the US and Canadian markets.

According to our source who appears to be in a close relationship with the automaker, Kia has sold 109 units of the Soul EV in the U.S. market and additional 14 units in Canada.

The final sales number for the month may seem pretty low compared to other EVs on sale, but let’s not forget that the all-electric Soul model has just been launched and Kia has yet to build a large dealer inventory.

The sales should gradually increase during the upcoming months as more vehicles hit the local stores and should total at around 5,000 units at the end of 2015.
