The addition of a Soul turbo to the Kia line-up will hopefully help push the Soul sales in Europe, with the numbers well off the pace of those in North America.

  1. The last I had read, this model was not coming to North America. We will be super excited at the dealership if it does. The Soul has always been a reliable, inexpensive, FUN crossover, but it definitely could use some more power.

  2. John it will be coming to N/A, in Canada it will be available on the SX model as a late availability. It will have the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with this engine. There will be two versions SX Turbo and SX Turbo Tech.
The US have yet to release their details on the 2017 Soul.

  3. I have always imagined the kia Soul having a model that was stretched a bit in the back to include another row. keep the updated power and luxury feel but add a small extra row in the back with the same hatchback details. It would most def be great for a family and still have the style and design that is so specific to the kia soul. I have had 3 and I don’t imagine changing to any other type of vehicle any time soon. I see these dads driving the family minivan and they have their comfort and luxury but I think the kia Soul could have that same vibe if it was stretched to have a 3rd row. There is enough space already for someone well over 6 feet to practically lay down in the front seat, so with the extra power and the extra length, it could definitely manage another row of weight in the back. and still have a great truck space. Like the Mini Cooper Clubman…..Only Much Better!!
