Kia Rio, Sportage – Designed By Massimo Frascella

CarAdvice, Australia’s number one resource for latest car news and new vehicle reviews, published an interesting interview a few months ago.

They spent some time talking to Massimo Frascella, an Italian car designer who had worked with Ford, Bertone and Aston Martin prior to joining Kia Motors in 2005.

Having worked at Kia for more than six years, Massimo was involved in designing of several prodouction models and show cars (Kia Ray, KUE, Track’ster concepts).

He also designed a visually-striking Kia Rio subcompact car and was in charge of the new Sportage crossover vehicle.

Unfortunately, Massimo no longer works for Kia. He left the company in November 2011 to join the Jaguar Land Rover where he has been appointed as Creative Studio Chief.
