Photo Rendering – Yellow Kia Pro_cee’d GT

A new speculative photo rendering of the highly-anticipated Kia Pro_cee’d GT hot hatch has been published by Quattroruote.

Based on the just-recently released (official) pro_cee’d GT teaser images, the rendering below gives us a realistic view of how the final design might turn out.

Due to be unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in March, the pro_cee’d GT will feature a restyled Kia signature grille, large air intakes on the bumper, red stripe detailing (similar to a Golf GTI) and a “jewel-like” four-point LED daytime running lights.

In addition, the forth-coming pro_cee’d GT will also incorporate large 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers and sporty body kit.

The GT hot hatch will pack a brand-new 1.6L turbo engine with gasoline direct injection -GDI technology. It will generate 204 horsepower and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of maximum torque. The engine will be mated to the six-speed manual gearbox.

Kia Motors also claims to have made “significant improvements” to the car’s chassis and suspension, presumably including extra stiffening and firmer dampers.

The 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d GT, when launched, will compete against the iconic Volkswagen Golf GTI and Ford Focus ST in the European market.

Expect the all-new pro_cee’d GT to go on sale in Europe in the second half of 2013. The model will be exclusive to the European market and won’t be sold in the USA or Canada

  1. Itlooks nice in yellow. I bought the Track Red colour released in October 2014 here in Australia. It come with the Navigation system. Over all i am very pleased with theis Sports Car. It has plenty of grunt for a 1.6 and i am amazed just how much power they are able to throw in these things these days. Of course you will always have these Morrons who always want MORE power and try to compare Cars such as this one with racing Cars. I can only say > Buy a racing Car. This is a car to be driven on the streets with more than decent power output and loaded with luxury appointments. It hadnles like a dream with the stiffened and multi link suspension system. I am very pleased with it. No Car is perfect and there is always room for some improvments. There are a little few plastic crackles coming from the sunroof, but nothing that can not be corrected under a generous 7 year warranty. More more does one want or even need? Nice work Kia!!!
