Palmen Kia Compares New Forte To Ford Focus Sedan
The newly released 2014 Kia Forte 4-door sedan is redefining the way people think about the compact car segment.
Kia auto dealers across the United States are seeing their Forte’s disappear at a rapid pace, thanks to a pair of powerful, efficient 4-cylinder engines and no lack of style.
While the decision to opt for a Kia Forte looks like a no-brainer, the good folks at Palmen Kia are offering up a comparison of the all new 2014 Kia Forte versus the Ford Focus.
2014 Kia Forte vs. Ford Focus Horsepower Ratings
The two vehicles are pretty much evenly matched when it comes to fuel mileage, but the Forte noses ahead in the performance department.
The 2.0L four-cylinder engine in the Kia model delivers 173 horsepower and 154 lb-ft of torque. That is a good ways ahead of the Focus, which has an output of 160 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque.
Focus, Forte Cargo Capacity Comparison
The performance gap would be enough to sway many consumers, but the Forte also has a decided edge in cargo capacity.
You will find 14.9 cubic feet of storage space in the Forte, compared to just 13.2 in the Focus. That may not seem like a huge difference, but every inch of space counts when loading up the car.
It looks as though the professionals at Palmen Kia have done enough to prove the superiority of the new Kia Forte, but they still invite customers to visit them in Kenosha for a test drive.
They have an excellent selection of new and used Kia vehicles on hand, as well as the new, and invite anyone from the surrounding area to come and check out their selection. [Source: Palmen Kia]
