Kia Soul 2014 Prices – Base Starts At $15.495, Top Trim Goes For $21,095

The all-new 2014 Kia Soul is almost upon us, which means it’s time for Kia Motors America to release the pricing levels for their cool new car.

When it arrives, the Soul will be available in three different trim levels: Base, Plus and Exclaim.

Each will have a destination charge of $795, but that aside, the Soul Base model pricing will start at $14,700 MSRP.

Since its release in 2009, the Soul has proven to be a major success story for Kia, and the company believes the new release can take that success to all new levels.

The reason they think this way is because the Soul continues to be cool and affordable, but it now also comes with a host of premium features, as well as improved driving dynamics.

The new chassis is stiffer, wider and longer, which adds up to more passenger and cargo space, as well as reduced noise levels.

Michael Sprague, executive vice president of marketing and communications at KMA, said the starting price coming in at under $15,000 lets customers know that the value of the Soul remains intact.

He went on to say that people are going to be surprised at the level of sophistication found in the all-new Kia Soul.

Base Model Features

The starting price of the Soul Base belies how many features actually come with the car. Those features include privacy glass, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), as well as the option to add 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control with steering-wheel-mounted controls, center console armrest and storage, rear center armrest with cup holders and remote keyless entry.

The array of standard features include a 1.6L 4-cyl. gasoline direct injection -GDI, four wheel disc brakes, rack-ready roof with integrated mounting points, air conditioning, power door locks, power windows with driver-side one-touch auto-down, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, USB/auxiliary input jacks, Bluetooth wireless technology and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM).

Soul Plus Starts At $18,200

Moving up to the Soul Plus, which starts at $18,200, means the addition of 17-inch alloys, a clack and chrome front grille and turn signal indicators on the outside mirrors.

There are also a number of option packages available, starting with the UVO eServices package. This costs $400 and includes Rear Camera Display and auto on/off headlights.

An additional $1,400 gets you the Audio Package, which comes with an 8-inch display, HD Radio, Infinity Audio system and temperature control with cluster ionizer.

The Primo Package comes in at $3,000 and comes with a panoramic sunroof with power shades, leather trimmed seats, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, push-button start with Smart Key and front fog lights.

For $400 buyers can get the ECO package with Idle Stop and Go System (ISG), low rolling resistance tires and 16-inch alloy wheels at $400.

2014 Soul Exclaim Pricing

The top of the range Exclaim starts at just $20,300 and comes with features that include 18-inch alloy wheels, body-colored front and rear bumper tusks, LED positioning lights, LED taillights with LED high-mounted stop light, power folding outside mirrors, UVO with eServices and a Rear-Camera Display.

At $2,600, the Sun and Sand Package provides navigation with an 8-inch display, Infinity Audio system with center speakers, subwoofer and external amplifier, speaker lights and automatic temperature control with cluster ionizer.

An additional $2,500 delivers everything, including leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, push-button start with Smart Key and LED positioning lights.
