General Description:

Kia’s global chief of design, Peter Schreyer, was the man in charge of overseeing the development of the Forte5 at the Kia design studio in Seoul.

Among the European inspired highlights of the great looking hatchback are large wheels and an aggressive stance.

Much like its sedan sibling, the Forte5 has swept headlights that dig deep into the front fender. A heavily rake windshield and broad shoulders give off an aggressive stare, while the LED positioning lights up front give the car a sporty, premium style.

The aforementioned wheels clock in at 18-inches to fully fill the wheel wells, giving a definite European sense of style to the hatchback.

Around back, LED taillights add to the premium feel of the car, while sportiness is served by the Forte5’s twin chrome exhaust tips.

This is a vehicle that delivers on a number of levels. The hatchback design offers plenty of cargo space, while the turbocharged engine serves as a reminder that this is a sporty model.

If it’s power you want, move on up to the Forte5 SX, Kia’s most powerful car ever. Under the hood is a 1.6-liter GDI turbocharged 4-cylinder that delivers killer performance.

All of the power is delivered to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission.
