Kia K900 To Be Launched At Los Angeles Auto Show, US Sales In 2014
Kia Motors America announces the K900 flagship sedan to debut at the L.A. Auto Show next month!
Kia’s range-topping rear-wheel-drive sedan, which has been on sale in Korea for about a year, will soon hit the U.S. soil!
To be sold as Kia K900, the high-end luxury sedan will make its inaugural North American public debut at the auto show in Los Angeles, before going on sale in 2014.
When Kia K900 arrives to the States it will offer a choice of V6 or V8 engines coupled to 8-speed automatic transmission.
Kia hasn’t revealed exactly which engines will be used under the hood of the K900 sedan but we expect the model to adopt a 333-horsepower 3.8L V6 and 429-horsepower 5.0L V8 engines from the all-new Hyundai Genesis sedan.

Positioned above the carmaker’s just-recently launched 2014 Cadenza near-luxury sedan, the K900 flagship will host a plethora of high-tech features including a head-up display, corner-following LED headlamps, adaptive air suspension, radar-based blind-spot detection/lane departure warning, 17-speaker audio system and adaptive cruise control.
It’s believed that the starting price for Kia’s premium full-size sedan will be somewhere in the $50,000-$60,000 range.
Some rumors suggest that Kia aims to sell 5,000 units of the K900 in the United States next year.
