Kia Announces September 2015 Sales Figures: 49,820 Vehicles Sold

Kia of USA has just released their September 2015 sales figures and there’s a lot to talk about!

They have recorded their best Septemeber-sales ever with figures increasing 22 percent over the same month a year ago – the brand finished September with 49,820 units.

Kia’s highly-successful month was led by the Soul crossover vehicle and Optima midsize sedan.

Sales of the boxy subcompac rose 26 percent to 13,614 units, while Optima record the sales of 11,719 units.

Also performing well was the brand-new 2016 Sorento CUV with monthly sales totaling 9,380 units, up 42% over the same period last year.

The automaker also benefited from a very strong demand for other models including the Sedona, Forte and Sportage.

Kia sold 3,039 units of the Sedona, which represented a 395% increase on year and a 19.4 percent rise from August.

Perhaps the most impressive gain last month has recorded the K900 luxury sedan with sales soaring from 56 units in September 2014 to 329 units in September 2015.

It seems like huge advertising spendings are finally starting to pay off as sales of the K900 luxury sedan is taking off!

To date, the automaker has sold 1,905 units of the K900 flagship sedan.

Updated: A total of 105 Soul electric cars have been sold in the USA last month, while year-to-date sales now stand at 727 units.
