These are the very-first interior images of the forth-coming Kia K9 luxury limousine!

Just recently, we got a fairly good look at the Kia K9′s exterior styling, but nothing on interior, unfortunately. This time around, our friends from South Korea sent us some exclusive Kia K9 spy shots allowing us to see the interior lay-out of the high-end sedan for the first time.

Set to be officially revealed in the first half of 2012, the up-coming Kia K9 is rumored to be based on the hot-selling Hyundai Genesis sedan, meaning the engine’s power will be transmitted to the car’s rear wheels. Kia K9 will be the very-first rear-wheel-drive Kia vehicle, but hopefully, not the last one!

Remember, not long ago Peter Schreyer revealed Kia could soon bring a RWD sports coupe to the market. The so-called “halo” car would certainly help build a sportier image for the brand…

Since the K9 will most probably be based on the Hyundai Genesis sedan, engine options will likely include a 3.8L V6 with 333 hp, a 4.6L V8 with 385 hp and possibly, a 5.0L V8 that packs impressive 429 horsepower.

It is very likely that the new Kia K9 will also adopt 8-speed automatic transmission from the 2012 Genesis. Also possible is the 10-speed automatic gearbox which is currently under development at Hyundai-Kia’s technical center in Korea.

This is the CH, the real Amanti/Opirus replacement. I think we can stop calling it the K9, I am pretty sure Kia isn’t doing the alpha-numeric thing with their newest vehicles anymore, save for China. After all, the Pride stayed the Pride in Korea. Hopefully Kia keeps the VG out of the US market, I would much rather have this.

I’m sorry, but this interior doens’t fit the exterior look… outside the K9 looks amazing and luxurious… but this interior looks really cheap!

I thought the next Forte will be called K3 in S. Korea?
Why does this look more like a cheap luxury car than a sports car? It really looks cheap. The K7′s interior is way better looking. Infact it’s Kia’s best looking interior yet….. followed by the 12′ Rio. I don’t like the wood inside it neither looks fake.

Wait a second!!!!! Something new!!! Why wouldn’t the logo be covered up in tape and yet the buttons on the doors are. I’ll tell you why. Because Kia wanted us to know the name. Think about it. As we get closer to the unveiling Kia slowely unveils new things of cars we never saw months ago. Also, take a closer look at the center dash. Very closely related to the K7′s. Also on the glove department is very simular looking to the Sportage’s and Optima’s. I still think the dash is rather cheap looking; however, we don’t know what trim we are looking at. I don’t believe this is a fully loaded Oprius (K9 name no loger needed as Greg said). A new thought just came to mind. What will this be called in the States? The steering wheel came off the Kia Ray’s (at least the part you do the steering with). The radio is from the K7′s (or should I say KND-5 concept?). Now if we could get a teaser released to show off a headlight. I bet you a million dollars, that if I saw the Oprius’ headlights, I can make out about 50% of Kia’s concepts and production models it came from. Just off a headlight.

Another new thought. Kia GT. Which Kia will be higher than the other? Will the GT be the Kia King or is the Oprius going to continue to be the top Kia? My guess is this will be over the GT. However, what will Kia do with the Oprius, GT, K7 all on sell togather?

Wait another new thought just came to mind. Remember the the Venedus name that popped out of nowhere. Some resource seems to have found that Kia has registered that name. But the question isn’t is it ture or not…. the question is “to what?” Venedus? Will the Oprius and GT is not the Venedus. So? What is it? Is it the Cadenza for the States? Is it the Tam? Or maybe the Naimo? What if it’s the Ray? Something fishy is going on here. Kia is up to something, something mean, soemthing scary, something grounbreaking, something chellenging, something I don’t even know what it is yet…. but I will find out or my name ain’t JTZ. Also, donsn’t the stick shift look like a thumb?

Guys, it’s a pre-production vehicle. Prototypes normally do not have high-grade materirals inside, but once the vehicle reaches production, Kia replaces everything inside with higer quality plastics, leather…

If this is the redesigned Kia Amanti then I’m beginning to think that the Cadenza will never debut in the States. People are familiar with the name Amanti. These days all new models with new names are harder to sell compared with name plates carrying on to redesigned models. The Optima and Amanti will be fine without the Cadenza. However there is one thing. Is the next Opirus still an Avalon rival or is it a 7 Series rival? Himi listed engine details with a possible never heard of 10 speed auto (damn is it enough room for that?!). That alone tells us that this is no Avalon rival. However somthing else to think about. Isn’t the 3.3L turbo in the GT more an Avalon rival? So the new question is now how long is the life expectancy on the Cadenza. Kia GT can compete with Taurus, Avalon and Maxima with the 3.3L V6 with the 390hp engine but the new Oprius is too powerful for that. So I’m gonna guess the Cadenza’s life will end and be replaced with the GT sedan. And that could explain why the Cadenza has not arrived here. Why pay more money to sell the Cadenza here if the entire time the CEO was thinking of releasing the GT with a smaller engine and yet more powerful and sporty? If you really think about it also, the coupe concept will be unveiled in January……. with no info about the Cadenza.

Himi gave us another clue about the K9′s interior. Did you notice something about Himi’s commets? Pay close attention. First lets start out with the Ray. Did you notice before the Ray was unveiled and still on spy shots he never said it was UGLY? In fact, he told us that he expected it look better without that black cover. And doesn’t it? Sure the Ray isn’t the best looking Kia not by a long shot; in addition, the Ray is weak and too little. Now remember how some people talked about the K9′s cheap looking interior? Will didn’t Himi tell us that it was still not finalized? That’s why I gotta assume that K9′s interior has got to be better looking than Cadenza’s. Himi and Kia knows something, something bad, something scary, something powerful, something mean, something grounbreaking, something I don’t even know what it is yet but I will find out or my name ain’t jtz. And I bet you about 10 miles behind this K9 had to had been the next Carens or Sedona. Only the Spy shooters fell for the decoy. Also did you guys notice BD’s commets have been erased? Why? I’ll tell you why because he must have told too much info about the next Cadenza. Think about it. Did Kia ever tell us any information about the next Cadenza? If you ask them, they wouldn’t say nothing and just keep quiet and ignoring your commets (just like Nintedo does when I’m trying to find out more about that Wii U). Interesting don’t you think? Kia and Nintendo are up to something, something big, soemthing grounbreaking, something interesting, something I don’t even know what it is yet but I will find out or my name ain’t jtz.

Off topic, I just saw the new Chevy Trail Blazer, That is one heck of a design. It looks like a nissan Armanda made love to the Mercedes M class and that’s what came out. Also the front bumper came fromt the 2007 Kia Kue’s. Nice design. But why did they choose bof? It could have put that Explorer to shame.
