Speaking of the new Equinox, sure it's a nice design but since that design was on the 1st genetation Lexus, RX, Mercedes, M class, 1st generation Sorento, 1st generation MDX, old Honda Pass port, Ford Escape and Toyota 4 runner, the new Equinox isn't a groundbreaking design it's just diffrent from it's 1st generation that's all. Did I forget the 1st generation Saturn Vue too? Hey now that I bring it up, out off all thoese old and current SUVs I just named, why is it that the 1st generation Kia Sorento was the only unorignal SUV but the others have rear pillars simiular to them as well and I haven't seen any blogs saying the others copied?

Right that does get boring. If the new Outlander didn't have the click and paste of the Lancer, it's face would have not aged so rapidly because it would be a totally new face. None of Kia's models have the same grille design. Some are smaller than others and wider. Every Kia grille looks different with the signature grille on there. The Sorento's face is diffrent from the new Sportages as well as the Kee's. From Forte's to Soul's to Optima's to K7's I have to say not only do I like the style but I like how each Kia model looks diffrent and yet they don't. Even the Ray has the Kia face without the click and paste. This reduces age in the designs. Why is it that the Chevy cruze has aged faster than the Kia Forte, it has that click and paste design on the face on the Malibu and that Equinox besides the next Ford Focus is arriving and the Cruze may not get a chance.

mitsubishi and honda hardly ever come to my mind when "click and paste" designs are in question. in fact, Audi is the brand that comes up first. Their cars have the same design scaled up or down for every model. And then it gets boring. You can always guess what the next car will look like. Hope this wont happen with Kia cuz many other brands are starting to the same thing.

Another new thought just came to mind. From the Ray's first teaser, I wonder if maybe those design kues will reach production like how the Sportage got the Kue's designs and the Sorento got the KND-4's designs. I mean that is too much of a nice sketch to have it be a concept. I need to know the size, interior and exterior. It's still not enough for me to figure if the Ray is the concept version of the CH yet. It's just not enough information yet. But 2 days. Just 2 days 48 hours until I will know the answer. It's got to be more than a hybrid Kia is unveiling. It's got to be. Why else would the hood be another color than the body.

A new thought just came to my mind. It seems this really isn't the concept version of the K5 (I'm talking about the Kia Ray concept). Because of that new rendering of the K5, these headliights and grille are totally different yet, they carry the same design DNA just like the other Kias. Aren't you guys glad Kia really designs and doesn't click and paste like Mitsubishi or Honda (look at the Crosstour and 2011 Odessey (same face)).

Kia Ray hybrid concept car looks like a pretty nice design. Kia is also getting improved sales report. so, we can expect more such cars in the future.

ThisKia siganature grille is totally different from the other Kias with the H grille. The lower part is the line inbtween the headlights. The upper part is right under the Kia badge. There is something about why that hood is a diffrent color than it's body. I'm guessing it's see through. Its got to be. i can almost see the enitre signature grille. Kia wants to not only unveil the concept but they want to show off the hybrid as well. That hood is a diffrent color for a reason. But DON'T let the teaser fool you into thinking it want have the H grille. Peter S. is from Audi what Audi in production or concept doens't have the Audi signature grille?

The Lower part of the signature grille could be the bumper. But let me tell you that Kia Ray concept DOES have the H grille don't let the teaser fool you.

You guys have totally missed something here. This concept does have the h grille and you can see it. Not the lines but what is right underneath the Kia badge. it appears that hood may be see through and not actually painted black.

If you look carefully, you can see the upper half of the tiger nose behind the translucent bonnet. Himi are you sure that the hybrids aren't on sale yet? I've seen plenty of Fort Hybrids and Elantra Hybrids around in and near Seoul in Korea.
