Here are the latest “spy shots” of the HOT looking Kia Forte Koup. The model has been spotted in a garage of one of the tuning shops. Registration plate attached at rear bumper indicates that this must be the US-spec Forte Koup model.
So far, we have seen many shots of the new Kia Forte Koup and every time I see the car I like it more! Is it just me or it’s the same by you?

Been thinking that other models in KIA’s lineup would benefit from the Koup’s rear lights. Give a corporate family look to the back of models.
. Still, this looks fan-bloody-tastic though!

I think I like it best in Silver though

they must have used this for their photo shoots, as the license plate is the same as the one I pulled off a site to do comparison shots in your Forte forum.

Agree, all kia’s should get a similar sleek and sporty look at rear. The silver color we see here looks good on the Koup, but so does red color that we have seen a few days ago! This is a fantastic car! Kudos to Kia!!

Wow that looks good in silver.

There is also a 4 door Forte in the background in one of the pics. My only reservation about the Koup’s exterior styling is the black-painted section on the bumper below the grille. It’s a trick to make the lower air intake look larger without actually changing its size. I prefer the simpler treatment on the 4 door. The rest of the car is perfect. No other in this class comes close.

By the way guys, if you look at the poll below. Kia is definately going to be dropping that 1.6 new Hyundai/KIA small car hyrbid powertrain in it. It also looks like KIA will be putting the Genesis 2.0 turbo in it as well, and we all know if that happens it will get over 200 HP.

ooh, in reference to my post; When I said silver, I mean the colour on the review article posted on May 13th.

The one on this article appears more of a graphite colour to me.

I wonder who gave Himi the spyshots? Looks like an insider job or they were purposely leaked..

I have a fear that we will only get the same 2.0 liter 4 + 5 spd. manual you get in the normal one. Don’t even talk about a 4 spd automatic in this day and age.
I also prefer the standard front bar of the sedan so I would choose to retrofit that.
It’s also one of those cars built around the 17″ wheel so the cheaper models with the smaller wheels look bad.

I dont think so Tony. By the way, it would be phat get into a police chase in this thing with a 2.0 turbo unit. Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

HyundaiSmoke, come on, you know the golden rule of driving of any vehicle:
“ONLY speed when cops aren’t looking”

I see the speed limit as a mere suggestion. A speeding ticket – a stronger, more expensive suggestion!

Wooow nice car!

Indeed Spela! This is one of the best looking Kias ever!!

But when KIA makes these they are saying, “Hey its ok to drive 160 MPH on the highway.”
