Well, according to the Korean artical that was posted on the internet yesterday(I think), they are saying that this car will sit above Optima(known as Lotzi in Korea, the 2009 model), and below Amanti(known as Opirus in Korea). They may be talking about the Korean line-up, it may be different for the States, but who knows….

They need to go ahead with the Panoramic Roof. This is the what 3rd or 4th Close to production to feature it. I think a full panoramic roof would set this apart from others in it’s class.

This is going to be a lower-cost Passat CC. The CC is a wonderful and really detailed vehicle and has everything at the right place. If anyone saw it in-person, he’ll know what I mean. It’s a stunningcar and if Kia VG can come close to it thene Kia will see some nice sales numbers for it.

Greg, what do you mean “too small for a turbo”? There are many 1.6Ts out there and displacement has no affect on whether a turbo can be fitted or not.

As for the concept, yet another excellent design coming from Kia. They really are emphasizing the design part of their products and whilst I was watching South Korea vs. Iraq in a FIFA World Cup friendly match on a Korean broadcast (which Korea won BTW), I saw a Forte ad and it ended with the single word “DESIGN” on the screen. This is doing wonders for Kia and if they keep it up, they will no doubt succeed.

Himi, is that Lambda 3.5L a new motor??? Hyundai-Kia only produces 3.3L and 3.8L versions at the moment so I’m a bit curious.
