The Canadian version has many more options on the base Soul than they have here in the USA, hence the higher price.

Again the Canadian shaft . USA Soul’s starting price of $13,950 (including destination). What do we have , Price: $15,495 plus
Destination & Delivery $1,650
Something very wrong here . Come on Kia stop the ripoff !!!
All the problems with car companies and they still have the arrogance to do this . Well , we keep on buying I guess they keep laughing .

Oh I still can't decide, I really want the Lava, but I also want the burner interior. Decisions Decisions. I guess it will depend on how it looks for real. I cant wait, the CIAS (Autoshow) starts on the 13th and I am working the 16th, so I will send fresh pics on the Monday when I arrive home.

The Mini comes off as classic British in a modern form, and it's nie. But the Kia Soul has a unique funk to it that is very appealing. Nice body design, very sporty, and the Tomato Red keeps coming back to me as my favorite.

These prices are indeed correct, but keep in mind there are additional charges: Destination & Delivery $1,650...Excise tax aka A/C tax $100...Metallic paint charge if applicable $150...Pearl metallic paint charge if applicable $200.

So, the color palette is different for Canada. I didn't see a Java Brown, but I did see an Onyx. I wonder if the Onyx is the the Ebony that appears on other Kia models here in U.S. I'm not really a "black car guy" but I really do like the Ebony on the Soul. It looks a little mysterious and sleek.
I have been leaning heavily toward the Red though, which is funny, since it wasn't even ON the short list two months ago. I have been looking at the Soul, from various angles and in various lighting, and have come to believe that the red color does impart a definate sporty quality to it. A suggestion of a Mini Cooper ....in spirit anyway. In Clear White it looks very clean and fresh....but maybe a little plain. In Java Brown, or in Green Tea, it feels more like a small SUV.
In the Blacks and Titanium it feels more "urban", especially with dark window tint and graphics. That's my take n'ways. Thanks for the post himi!
