2010 Kia VG sedan

Here are some new Kia spy shots that were published at AVING network and show us a heavily disguised near luxury Kia VG prototype, which was caught by AVING spy shots.

This is yet another series of spy pics of the upcoming Kia VG sedan, which is about to hit the Korean market in the Autumn next year.

Although we have seen plenty of VG spy shots in the past year, we haven’t gathered many information on this upcoming Kia model. It is still not known how this vehicle will be positioned in the Kia range. Is it going to replace the Amanti/Opirus or it will be a stand alone model?

We know that Kia VG is coming to the USA in the 2010, but is it going to be built in USA? What engines will it have? Is it possible that this is going to be the first Kia vehicle to feature direct-injection gasoline engine, which Kia said it has in the pipeline?

Well, there are many questions on the 2010 Kia VG sedan at the moment, so let’s hope the 2009 will bring us all the answers and solves the mystery on this exciting Kia model!

I was wondering if this will be the other car that will be made in the West pont GA facility

Nope….the deal with the West Point factory original plan called for it to produce the next gen 2010 Kia Sorento and the Kia pick up truck but unfortunately Kia scrapped plans for the pick up truck so they are going to use the other production line at the factory to produce a Hyundai instead.

That isn’t true, according to Mr. Ahn, a Kia sedan will be produced at the west point facility.

So what is so different about these spy shots?? We have seen it all before, did they change the camo or something? And Kia might produce a Soul pickup, which would pretty much be a Kia sedan.

I just saw the Kia Soul at a dealership. That think is sooooooooo nice. Himi is 100% right it loooks wayyyyy better in person. It is sooo much room in the little ute. I mean roomy and everything. I was very very surprised at what I seen. But that little thing is nice. When in person, it doesn’t seem that small not at all not in person or inside. It was a Soul 4U I think. The driver seat even had an arm rest. Yessir. When I see it, I forget about not having an AWD. When I’m around it, it feels like a true ute and not just a crossover. It looked soooo roomy. I touched the interior and panel and unlike what others said about the cheap looking interior, it didn’t look or feel cheap. My own eyes finally saw it so no one can tell me nothing. It’s something a person has to see for themselves. In other words, I’d be very glad to own one. I can’t wait until I’m able to ride in it. The design is perfect and I can’t wait to see this soul base concept. OH yeah and the spy shots of the VG are nice. I’m sorry if I’m off topic but I had to say something.

yeah, JTZ the intereior [black one] does look high quality.
but I still wanna see the red interior cuz thats the one which I feel through pix, is the cheap looking one cuz of the super smooth red shiney plastic dashboard with no texturing. I wonder if I will even see that option in UAE.

I can see the VG as having a very BMW M5-ish look. Not bad at all!

I also see some Jaguar XF in the design of VG. See the window line going upwards. Similar design has been used on the Jag, but of course, it will look better on Kia!! ;)

After lookind at the new Ford Taurous and Buick Lacross (although it has Chevy Cruze’s headlights and Mazda 6′s body style) this Kia has some tough rivals. That new Ford looks very aggressive. But I still think the Nissan Max has the best design. I’m not pleased about the Subaru it looks like a rush job. The design is an Infinti G sedan. I wish we could see the VG or at least the 2010 NAIAS.

I too think For’d done great job with the Taurus design and also good interiors. The other two I like are the Jag XFR and Infiniti G sedan.
