If I haven’t mentioned yet, I have been invited to the official European launching event for the Soul crossover, which will be held in Valencia, Spain. Kia Motors has given me an opportunity to take part at the event and I’m glad to announce that I will be attending it.
This is the event for the European automotive press and media with more than 300 journalists from all-over the Europe participating. I’m joining the group of five journalists and two Kia representatives from Slovenia. We are leaving for Spain today at 1:00 PM and coming back on Saturday!
I’m really excited about this!! Not only because I’ll finally get behind the wheel of the Kia Soul but also because of the opportunity to meet many interesting people from Kia Motors.
I plan to bring you all the news and images from Spain, so stay tuned! That’s it for now, I’ll be here again tomorrow, after we arrive to Valencia.

I will only be there for a day. Well, we arrive to Spain at half pas nine PM and then get to drive the Soul for the whole day, with some pause for the lunch. After the lunch we exchange the cars and go for another test drive.

At the evening we all meet in a hotel and have a short press conference and at the end there’s a dinner with some music and stuff like that.

I think this will be a great experience for me. I have never been to such an event, so I’m really looking forwardt to it!

That is so cool himi……can’t believe you get to take part! If they let you drive, I have two requests: ask to drive a manual if one is present, and test the acceleration and drive quality….smoothness, I’ve been wondering about both of these things, and only driving can answer them. Some US Kia dealers recieved their preproduction Kia Soul to display today 12-11. If you are in the Seattle area you can see the Kia Soul in the flesh at Lee Johnson Kia in Kirkland. Check it out!

Kid Icarus-is there snow and/or ice on the ground in the Seattle area right now? Or is it getting colder to the point of ice forming on your shields? I may be flying over there in the next coupla weeks-I would be going to Mukilteo and the Port Angeles-Forks areas.

There wlll be a Soul on display in Selma California next month I think. Selma is a short drive for me, so I will go have a look when it arrives on the lot.
