I also saw the Kia Soul at Car Pros Kia of Tacoma, which is also happens to be where I work (And I love the people I work for!). My husband and I even took one for a test drive overnight. We both were amazed at feeling naturally comfortable, as though the car was way more ergonomically friendly than our Nissan Sentra (which has been a great commuter car with good gas mileage; however, my back and neck always hurt after a long drive–arthritis). I’m only 5 feet and getting in and out of the Soul was seamless and I felt I could easily commute, do grocery shopping, and take longer trips too the ocean in this crossover. The Soul is defiantly high on my list for being my next vehicle.

I saw the Soul in Mission Viejo, CA yesterday parked at a gas station (and wondering what it was). It was not occupied but I took some notes and here I am on this KIA site. We were impressed and looking to purchase……wonder where this bad boy came from……any ideas out there?

the Soul is very impressive as far as subcompact cars go. I definitely want to test drive one in stick- looks like it could be a peppy fun little car

I moved here from Connecticut a few years back Bryan. I’m living in Maple Valley now. I agree about the Cube to an extent. for function over form in an urban environment, the Cube will easily find a decent number of buyers. You’d be surprised how many 1st and 2nd gen xB’s are owned and driven by businesses around here (catering, auto parts delivery, insurance adjuster, etc…). They are great vehicles for that market and I expect the Cube will be a hit in the same market. They function really well as mini-minivans and tiny utility vehicles that are economical from a business perspective.

Hey, Bancho, you live in western Washington, do ya? I was born in Seattle, raised in Edmonds and spent scads of years in Everett, Stanwood and then we eventually moved from Burlington, WA, in 2003, to move to Missouri. What part of the fair state of Washington do ya hail from? BTW-the Nissan Cube lies in the same ballpark as the Scion xB to me. Funky, weird boxy vehicles for those that are intent on making some kind of statement, or for those who don’t appreciate good car body design! They want something beyond different…there will be a following in America for the Nissan Cube, definitely a niche-type rig at best, though.

Frankly, the picture of the light blue Cube I saw on this web site yesterday if totally UGLY!!! It looks like it came out in 1950. I only saw the 3/4 view, and might like it from the side or back, but the front looks like it was made in the same factory as the Yugo.

I totally can’t see how the designers could come up with such an ugly looking car as the Cube. It is not even in the same league, nevermind the same ball park, as the Soul, in my opinion.

At first I didn’t have any hope or ambition for this thing, but I am really warmed up to it now. This vehicle has the most well thought out interior of any Kia vehicle to date!

In America they say it belongs to C segment, while in Europe, I think I read somewhere, they say Soul is a B-segment car. Both are right. The Soul 4,10m long, which falls exactly between the Rio with 4,0m in length and Cee’d with 4,22m in length.

Yes, there should be 11 different color available, and they will add new ones each year.
