You right the Soul ain't for old folks it's for youth. That's why the Soul is outselling that ugly Cube. Just like the Sorento is outselling the Rouge and Murano. Also the Sportage will outsell that Juke. Come on Chi bring it on. HKAG is out doing Nissan and Infiniti. New next Elantra is ready for the Sentra and the UB is ready to tackle down that Versa that took the Rio5's tailights.

ChiFox, you're preaching to a Kia-lovers' site. ;) But I'm with you. I have (and love) a Honda Element and will need a second car. I want something smaller but with just as good a use of space. The square design, as you know, lends itself very well to maximizing interior space. Headroom and legroom are great in both cars.

The Soul is cute, but I need to move stuff and up to four people, not just one or two people and a bag of groceries. Soul might be fine for kids, but adults will better appreciate the drive and design of Cube.

To the poster who said it's for those who don't appreciate good design - what? For once it's a car that doesn't look like all the others, but isn't so "out there" that it's only going to appeal to teenage wannabe pimps, like the original xB.

I LOVE MY CUBE!!!! It is funky, fun, and I love that you don't see them on the street very often!!! I live in Chicago so I needed something great with gas mileage (I love the electronics on the dash that tell me based on my driving how many mpg I am getting) - and something that is smaller and easier to park - I can fit in tiny spots now - LOVE IT!!!! The Interior changing lights are fun - you cannot beat the rear door opening to the side vs the top (I have an 85lb dog = much easier getting him in/out). When you are inside, you are not cramped it feels big like an SUV and the seats are SO comfy!!! I can do a full 9 hour trip and not get sore! The drive is nice - it is very quiet on the HWY and the CVT engine ROCKS! You don't get jerked around when the car is shifting - you don't feel it at all!! I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking into the square car family - test drive the cube, you will <3 it!!!

Hey, Bancho, you live in western Washington, do ya? I was born in Seattle, raised in Edmonds and spent scads of years in Everett, Stanwood and then we eventually moved from Burlington, WA, in 2003, to move to Missouri. What part of the fair state of Washington do ya hail from? BTW-the Nissan Cube lies in the same ballpark as the Scion xB to me. Funky, weird boxy vehicles for those that are intent on making some kind of statement, or for those who don't appreciate good car body design! They want something beyond different...there will be a following in America for the Nissan Cube, definitely a niche-type rig at best, though.

The Retona/Rocksta definitely looks like a Jeep. Good military vehicle from Kia. Made at the same plant as the Soul and Sportage.

If I had to choose one thing I liked about the Cube, it would be the engine. Nissan makes a great engine. Although, Kia beat out Nissan for reliability in CR's tests.

The only thing that I really like about the Cube is it's large sunroof, other than the car looks like a space-ship on a small vheels.
