r1276058345.jpgWe have already seen numerous photos and reports from Kia’s stand in Paris, but we never get enough, do we?

Well, the 18-day auto show is still going on and is very much alive. Therefore we will continue posting interesting Kia news reports from the event. Here is our latest one, coming from the Soul zone. This time, it’s not a video report, but a simple image review of all different Kia Souls showcased at the show.

As you already know, Kia has put seven different Soul models on display. All Souls displayed are the top-of-the-range models and display some very unique exterior and interior accessories. They also highlight a wide variety of styles, which customers will be able to choose for their new Kia Souls. Please, have a look…

1. Soul Vanilla Shake:

We will take a look at first among seven exhibited Soul models and that will be the “Vanilla Shake” Soul, equipped with four speed automatic transmission. This particular model features 7-spoke, 18-inch chrome alloys from MS Design, chrome door handles and chrome grille in front, as well as side moulding and bumper moulding at rear.

It also has a Piano Black headlamp styling accents, body colour front and rear bumpers, and Hounds Tooth check pattern on the bonnet. Inside, the Beige Special interior features Hounds Tooth check pattern seat trim.

2. Black Burner style Soul

Do you still remember Kia presenting the Soul Burner concept as a “bad boy” among all three Geneva show cars? At that time, the Burner was a concept car only, but only a few months later, you can see in production ready form. Here it is, the streets ready “bad boy” Kia Soul!

Looks awesome and screams attention. The Soul Burner wears 18-inch “Burner” accessory alloy wheels (also known as Flower wheels), European body kit, red mirror housings and headlamp styling accents, and “Dragon Tattoo” graphics.

3. Tomato Red Kia Soul

No fancy decals can be found on next Soul model. This one comes equipped with European body kit, high-gloss Piano Black front and rear bumpers and headlamp styling accents, red mirror housings, door handles and side moulding. It also has wears regular 18-inch alloy wheels in silver color. The Black/Red interior features the “Street Demon” cabin styling.

4. Black Kia Soul

Instead of “dragon” vinyls, the Black Soul model hosts a white stripe graphics at the bonnet, roof and possibly the tailgate. It also comes equipped with white painted, 18-inch accessory alloy wheels and white mirror housings. An important part of it’s accessory pack is also a “Korean” body kit attached to the front and rear bumpers…Check out a better image here.

If I had to pick my favourite Soul out of all seven models presented in Paris, I’d choose this one! Which one is yours favourite?

5. Clear White Soul

There’s also a clear White Kia Soul with high-gloss Piano Black front and rear bumpers and “styling accents” below the headlamps. It also has a chrome front H-grille and body colour mirror housings, door handles and side moulding.

6. Java Brown Soul

Silver 18-inch alloy wheels, high-gloss Piano Black front and rear bumpers, and chrome front grille, mirror housings, door handles and rear bumper moulding.  The Beige Special interior features the same Hounds Tooth check pattern seat trim as Vanilla Kia Soul.
7. Blue Stone Soul

The image of Blue Stone Kia Soul is not available at the moment because I’m still looking for it. According to Kia, the Blue Stone Kia Soul features matte black front and rear bumpers, door handles and side moulding, chrome front grille and white mirror housings.

Note: These shots you see above were taken by our friends at Omniauto.it, an Italian online auto magazine that provides one of the best coverages from Paris Auto Show. I’ll take the burner as my favorite.

I’d go with the black Soul and white strip on it’s bonnet. All of them looks very good, but I wonder why Kia excluded to show a Latte green and orange Soul. Those two would also have a lot of attention at the show.

I wonder if the 7 spoke wheels on the vanilla shake look good on the black burner.

Don’t know Boris. Perhaps someone could photoshop the image.
I have always liked sporty cars with white alloy-wheels so I’m really happy to see white ones. Nobody actually mentioned they will be available on Soul.

it almost seems that the schreyer grille is standard in some form. Who confirmed that it isn’t standard?

I was told that h-grille will be optional and I strongly believe that to be the truth. We have seen many images with the grille missing so there must be something on this. Also note that these Souls you see above are the top of the range cars with most of the accessories included and the grille is among them.

I like that black one with the white on there. I’ll take the Soul over that rip off Scion XD any day even if it doesn’t have AWD.

AWD isn’t necessary, IMO. If you like to slip and slide in to turns and do a lot of drifting, then that’s different. OR if you live in difficult weather conditions, then AWD can be nice. I still love the one in Tomato Red, I might change the wheels to a fancier type, though. Love that red, though!

i get the point about the weather, but wats with the drifting and sliding in to turns thing???? drifting is strictly done with a rwd car… rallycross is mostly done with awd, but you wouldnt do that in a car with such a tiny motor… anyways, my favorite is the black one… gotta love the simplicity of black and white!!!

pat, have you seen the rio drifting vids on youtube and facebook? but i wouldnt drift soul cuz its taller and probably has a higher centre of gravity. I would really appretiate AWD.

no i havent but technically its not drifting unless somehow they found a donor RWD vehicle and did a conversion like the Formula Drift scion… tail draggin with the handbrake or with trays on the rear tires isnt drifting… just making sure thats understood~

Then the rio wasnt drifting I guess. its was making fast turns on an icy road and swinging out its tail.
