Kia Soul fans, take a few minutes off and have some fun with building your totally unique Kia Soul! Kia Motors Korea launched a new Soul mini-website today, which provides detailed information about the car, performance information, videos, downloads and more cool stuff. In addition to that, there’s also an option to build your own Kia Soul!
Titanium Silver color, 18-inch “Flower” alloy-wheels, dragon decals and other available options, such as sporty body kit, rear spoiler and decoration kit suit perfectly for my Soul. If my poor student wallet held enough money to afford the new Kia Soul, the same car as you see on the image above would be my first choice.
Now, I’m really interested which color, options and engine would you choose for your Soul. So, here’s your turn, build your very unique Kia Soul, choose your favourite color, exterior options and background, and send it to my email. You can do this in three easy steps that are published below.
Make sure you send your Soul image to me and I’ll place it here at the blog! And if you want to add some thoughts about the Soul, don’t hesitate to write some words and share your two cents with all of us!
How to do:
1. Visit official Kia Soul website.
2. Enter the page and wait to load the introduction video or skip it.
3. Click MY SOUL ==> Making Soul, at the bottom of the page.
Have fun!
When you are done, print-screen your Soul and save your image to your computer. Send it to my mail-box at the info@kia-world.net and I’ll upload your Soul at the blog!
I should not forget to thank Ratdaddy, our regular reader and future Soul owner, who left a tip about the new Soul website at our Kia SOUL Forums.

Boris’ one looks really nice… maybe in real life I’ll go for that combo!
September 25th, 2008 at 6:43 pm
thanks. I really like good contrasts.

I’m having a love/hate relationship with the Soul. Some days I love it, some I don’t. But I have a feeling I’ll love it when it actually see it and get in it.
That being said, I’m leaning toward the silver with the standard wheels, or the tomato red with standard wheels. I really don’t like the flower wheels.
Nice cars guys!!!
September 26th, 2008 at 5:06 am
I didn’t make one up but if I did it would look like Greg’s, with the Tomato Red and regular alloys. I must say Peter Schreyer did a great job with that headlamp cluster. These guys are simply van-tastic!
September 26th, 2008 at 9:33 am
im pretty sure Tom Kearns did it in his USA design centre… i’ll stand corrected tho~
haha himi im glad you like the photoshoped wheel…

take a look at this people! It’s a quote from another site
quote: Kia Motors Corporation is planning to manufacture up to 136,000 examples of the Kia Soul annually at its Gwangju facility in Korea.
they have increased the production units from 120 000 to 136 000.
September 26th, 2008 at 10:45 am
and see this as well
quote: Also making their world premieres at Paris are the Kia cee’d Hybrid and the Kia Soul Hybrid concept cars. The Soul Hybrid concept comes complete with a panoramic powered folding fabric roof, plus a transparent bonnet and floor, so the new hybrid powertrain and battery pack can be viewed by show visitors.
This Soul Hybrid features Kia’s Gamma 1.6-litre petrol engine, mated to a 15 kW, 105 Nm AC synchronised electric motor, Kia’s own CVT (continuously variable transmission), ISG (Idle Stop&Go) and ‘regenerative braking’ to re-charge its power pack. The prototype is designed to achieve a fuel consumption of 57.6 mpg and a CO2 figure of 117 g/km.
.
and this
quote: A dedicated version of Kia Soul for the Chinese market will be produced locally in China at the rate of 40,000 units annually, starting during 2009.
.
I am so excited! I can hardly wait for the motorshow to kick off!
September 26th, 2008 at 5:15 pm
Added boris’s and Greg’s and Dean’s Souls…The last one is actually a hybrid Soul, which will make an official debut at the Parus auto sohw.
September 26th, 2008 at 5:33 pm
part of the soul hybrid’s floor will be see-thru so that people can look at its drivetrain and same with the hood as you can see [its also see-thru]. And notice it also has a folding cloth roof!!!

OK guys need your help. On the Korean site where you can build your Soul ,when you try to add the Dragon Graphic on the Cocktail Orange or the Green Tea it wont let you add it . Instead there is an ! point and a statement in Korean under the picture.. Can anyone properly translate what is written in Korean…..Thanks Ratdaddy
September 26th, 2008 at 9:48 pm
I cant translate literally but it means that decals are not available with this colour.
September 26th, 2008 at 10:08 pm
I’m really beginning to like that blue too!
A lot of cars come with 6 to 8 colour choices. The colour choices for the Soul are actually quite good.
This car will be a standout, and I don’t think they’ll stay in the showroom or on the lot too long, and there will be a stack of orders once people see one live, and take it for a drive.
Hey, I’m just waiting to see how the 5-speed auto performs.
The only thing I don’t like is there is no Electronic Stability Control as standard. From what I’ve read, this will be mandatory in the U.S. in the next year or so.
Or has someone found an options list that includes ESC?
Great pics, guys!
September 27th, 2008 at 7:53 am
GregoriusM, I’m sorry to say, that the soul only gets a 4-speed auto tranny and 5-speed manual.
September 28th, 2008 at 6:59 am
ESC is standard on all Kia Soul’s sold in N.A.
September 29th, 2008 at 4:19 am
Only a 4-speed auto tranny? That is so out-of-date now.Dang! At least ESC is standard!
September 29th, 2008 at 7:18 am
you could get 600km on a full tank with the 2.0L and ’round 660km with the 1.6L
April 11th, 2009 at 6:12 pm

September 6th, 2011 at 3:00 am

I’ve got a question for Boris…is your denim with the dragon just one dragon decal package?
