for some strange reason that vid doesnt start until its fully loaded. feels like its never goona come. other vids on the site loads like youtube. The Episode 2 is a continuation of the episode 1 which was refered to as a teaser with those wheels jumping around.

The white one with silver vinyl, “Burner” alloys and black front, rear spoilers and side skirt has also became my No.1 choice for the Soul.

Gadzeeks that Green Tea Latte one might just have to become my background, bumping the picture in there now, the one of my Rally Red ’08 Mitsubishi Lancer, which I absolutely adore! Yikes…I’ll say it again, the reason I love Kia, like Mitsubishi, is that these two carmakers have the passion of carbuilding squarely inside of them. Hell, I knew in May of 1999 when I looked at my buddy’s white ’99 Sephia. It’s body design blew away it’s two main competitors, the Hon-Duh Civic and the Toyota Corolla. I saw it then, even before Peter Schreyer came to Kia Motors. Anybody else on here see this phenomenon in the mid-to-late 90′s like I did?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kia retailers couldn’t keep this bad boy in their lots. BTW the tomato red Kia Soul is on my desktop.

I like Soul, but Forte is still more luxurious.

Jamayl…yep, it’s the Tomato Red Soul I love the most. That red is RED, like my Lancer’s RED is RALLY RED. This Tomato Red is more FIRE ENGINE RED WITH SOME MEXICAN SALSA SPLASHED IN. Man, Kia designers and builders are on some strong vitamins. These are great new rigs from Kia Motors of South Korea.

Just got information back from the National dealer meeting with an accessories brochure for the soul. Includes the normal accessories, but also listed:

Engine covers, stablilizer bars, alloy fuel doors, interior lighting, B-pillar applique, body decals, cold air intake, woofer system, strut tower brace, billet oil caps, loweing springs, cat back exhaust, coloured tuner wheel studs and lanyards, different styles of alloys including black with pink lip, full skirt package, rear bumper garnish, dorr badge, side repeaters, mirro, caps, and chrome packages.

More info as I get it.

I have made coments to some of my friends about getting a Kia Soul. Thier reactions were arn’t Kia’s a cheap made car, Yea iv’e of KIA real cheap little cars.i won’t buy one…Most US buyers don’t realize how far KIA has come in the past few years. I hope KIA reads some of what we write because they realy need to advertise big time…..

Wow! Kia is actually going to keep one of their promises?!? Ever since last year’s SEMA, I have thought that all of those types of accessories were a big exciting lie, but now, it may be true!! I AM SHOCKED!!!!!

    To Greg and Ratdaddy,

I manage a Kia dealership in Canada (Toronto), I am currently having the pages scanned to place on our website. Which should be up in a day or two. The reason I said I received the info is because it is only the Dealer Principals who go to the national meeting, where they got to see the 09 Magentis (Optima), the 2010 Forte (apparently in North America it will still be named Spectra), and the new Soul.

    More info as it comes.

I have sent 4 scans to info@kia-world.net so hopefully you will be able to see them soon.

Ratdaddy-I took the advice of my friend, who bought a white ’99 Sephia, that the car was sound as a pound. I liked the bodystyle and I wanted a car that would get better gas mileage than my ’97 Ford Escort sedan. Well, I bought a ’99 Kia Sephia sedan in Violet Mist color, 5-speeds, no A/C, no radio, for only $7,995, with the Kia Motors manufacturer’s rebate of $2,000. That was in May of 1999. The car pulled gas mileage if 32 highway, which trounced the Escort’s 30(not by much, but I loved the Sephia’s bodystyle). Turned me on to Kia and I haven’t looked back since. Getting more for less is great. Back then there was no Long-Haul Warranty, either. 5 years and 60,000 miles was my ’99 Sephia’s Warranty, IIRC. These guys, like Mitsubishi, have the passion of creating great automobiles deep inside of them. They are not some passing fancy that wants to shrink away and hide. They will only get more popular as time passes by and that will be helped as their presence in the state of Georgia manifests itself some more. Soul Power Baby!!
