Here we have an image of the final version of the Kia Soul. Wanilla-Shake Soul model features some interesting body parts that were first applied to the Burner concept vehicle and were rumoured to find it’s way into production.

H-grille: The H-grille with horizontal bars and a chrome squeeze above and below the Kia badge was first implemented to the midsize sedan Lotze (Optima) sedan and most recently, to Kia Forte. The signature grille is slowly spreading throughout the whole Kia lineup and is expected to become standard element at all future Kia cars.

Burner type alloy-wheels:
Soul is expected to have a variety of different alloy-wheels. This particular model wears 18-inch tires with 5-spoke alloy’s reminiscent of Soul Burner concept alloy-wheels. These alloys look the same as the one we have seen in the commercial Kia released last week to announce the Soul will soon be launched. In the video, random wheels were bouncing around until the same wheel as seen here came into the scene.

Front, rear skirt, side sills:
A close up look at the Soul reveals the styling body kit will also be available among accessories. There are black skirts fitted to the front and rear bumpers, as well as on the side. See more images here.

Those wheels were first introduced on a cee’d concept.

Did you notice some Souls have a side indicator, while other don’t…that’s strange. I thought side indicators are a must to be, written by law or something.

Anyway, this Burner looks very cool. Love the Burner type wheels and especially the chrome grille. It should be on all Souls!

I hope they introduce a matte black body colour option soon. I’d love that!

side indicators aren’t lawed in USA so the ones w/out them are PROBABLY for the US spec Souls. unfortunately. cuz i like the chrome side indicators.

^Good question, I see a Levi’s Store in the background. Do they have Levi boutiques in Korea?

This looks HOTT though. I hope we get that grill standard and the kit and rims atleast as options. I can not wait to se this in person. I think I’m either going to get this or the CUBE next summer as my graduation gift to myself.

On a side note, I hope Kia reconsidered the whole grill thing for the Optima and we are getting the H-grill on the facelift like we should.

I’ve seen the facelifted optimas in the UAE Kia yard and ALL of them have the chrome H-grille which means they might not be optional.

I noticed that too. No Korean tables, so this must be a different location.

Korea doesn’t have palm trees, which is why it looks to me like it is in So. Cal.

The side grille is allowed in the U.S. the new Ford Focus has it.

The new ford focus is currently the ugliest vehicle on the road, followed by flex, fusion, edge, taurus, then accord. And, that grille doesn’t have a turn signal.

I like edges lights [tail and head] but the plastic grille spoils the picture.

i never said side grill isn’t allowed in US. i said the side indicators aren’t STANDARD in the US autos. more as a garnish here. and Levi’s is worldwide so that location could be anywhere. I was just IN so-cal weeks ago and i’m a heavy shopper and ther doesn’t look like ANY shopping center i was at and i was at ALL of them. not to say it wasn’t in California but i really don’t think it was. its still so early for the Soul to show itself publicly in the US.

I dont understand why its too early… soul’s going to start selling by the end of this month!

  17. K-Sport (Boris) Says:

in Korea. sorry forgot to mention that

  18. JoshyLofty Says:

    September 4th, 2008 at 7:43 pm

right so its too early in the united states. 90% of the population has no idea this car exists so while it’d make sense to have it around & about, its very unlikely.

  19. Bryan Says:

    September 6th, 2008 at 6:13 pm

Make that 98% of the people in the U.S. have no clue this rig exists. Too much attention on Sarah Palin, John McCain, Caylee Anthony, Britney Spears, Barack Obama, etc., to notice the new Kia Soul.

  20. Greg Says:

    September 6th, 2008 at 8:06 pm

The reason I thought it was in Southern California is because Korea has no palm trees. That I know of. I like Sarah Palin, she gives one hell of a speech!! I think she makes McCains already strong campaign even stronger. Here is a fun fact: Every US president ever elected to office has been conservative. Whether they were Republicans, Democrats or Whigs, they were all conservative. The media is strongly liberal (especially NBC), and they try to make things look as bad as they can for the conservative candidate. All I’m trying to say is don’t listen to the media!!

  21. JoshyLofty Says:

    September 6th, 2008 at 9:38 pm

i’m voting democratic. they’re more for the people, environment, and equal rights. the latter is all i care about anymore really.

  22. Greg Says:

    September 6th, 2008 at 10:24 pm

I don’t care weather they are democrat or republican. That is the least of my concern. I am concerned about Conservative, liberal. Those can go either way. There have been many conservative democrats, and many liberal republicans. Sorry about the off-topic, himi.

  23. Bryan Says:

    September 7th, 2008 at 5:50 pm

They say Bill Clinton was a conservative Democrat, so that’s one reason that what you said may very well be true, Greg. Sorry for off-topic conversation, himi. To steer back on topic, let me just say this: I like the Soul’s 5-spoke alloy wheels. This crossover is one attractive new car from Kia.

  24. Greg Says:

    September 7th, 2008 at 6:41 pm

Well yes, Bill Clinton is a self-proclaimed conservative. Hillary is liberal. Anyway, those wheels look like the same wheels from the pro_cee’d concept.
