I’m doing this mini survey to find out which color for Soul is preferred by our readers. As you know, the Soul will come in a rainbow of colors and you can choose which one you like the most. The survey refers to the post where I showed you 11 different colors that will be available on Kia Soul. Check it out here and then choose your favourite one. Let us help predict the most popular color choice. You can vote at the sidebar, below categories box.

I like the cocktail orange. mind you, its not because I like cocktail juice. LOL.
my parents like the java brown. My taste of colours has shifted from “executive” colours to bright and funky colours.

I picked black. I like dark colors, to me it makes the car look more aggressive. I’d pick blue but it’s not dark enough for me I still like the color though. The white is nice too. My least fav would be red because red cars are more likly to get in accidents (so I was told).

matte black make cars look even more aggressive. the glossy black that manufacturers offer is black that shows luxury [like executive limos. are glossy black]. the black that shows sportiness is matte black that isnt glossy [like on soul burner]. If matte black was available, I’d choose that

i usually like the toned down hues as well like the moonlight blue. craziest thing to date i’ve owned was my metallic blue spectra 5. LOVED that color. i now own a titanium gray dodge but my Soul will be green tea latte.
although i’d completely settle for cocktail orange or java brown.

My hall is orange and brown. the orange was my choise and brown was my parents choice. Looks better than what people usually do [mixing brown and beige]. would be nice if the soul had the brown interior option like forte. then my soul would also be brown and orange. why am I saying “would be”? brown option has to be there when Kia says there be a long list of options to customise soul. Or should it be brown exterior and orange interior? Nah! orange exterior and brown interior is better. it will make the car stand out more in a sea of blacks and whites which I see on Dubai roads.

Actually, white cars are most likely to get into accidents. Red cars are most likely to get pulled over. When surveyed, a police officer said that out of 5 cars that were speeding, he would pull over the red one first. Mom goes 80 in a 55 zone almost daily, and we have not been pulled over yet. I do believe that white is most likely to get into accidents, especially in Michigan in the wintertime. For Soul I chose Titanium Silver. I love the Titanium Silver Sportage, and seeing it on the Soul is really nice. It isn’t boring, but it isn’t over-the-top.

what about the interior. lets see… black and beige will be there. picanto and sportage has blue, orange and red. so these are the 5 colours you can choose from. O and there should be brown as well like forte

The vanilla shake looks like the all-round best color to me – particularly if complimented with a real nice interior combo ! Think it might be the best compromise between “eye appeal” and “ability to keep clean with minimal effort”.???

August 29th, 2008 at 10:23 pm

My favorite is Tomato Red, 2nd favorite is Cocktail Orange, and my 3rd favorite is the Green Tea Delight. Umm-ummm-almost makes me want to brew up a cup of Green Tea to celebrate my 3rd pick there!

what interior would you choose if had the above options which I’ve made up in my earlier comment

Java Brown is my favorite followed by Moonlight Blue, Black, then white. I’d take it with a black or brown interior..
I can’t wait to see it in person and I hope the first one I see has the 18s on it. Those make it look so much better.

My favourites are : 1. Orange, 2. Vanilla, 3.Green Tea, 4. Titanium Silver.
This scale is based on these web-images, but I might change my opinion when I see Soul in-person. You know, some colors make the best impression when you see it close up.

yeah, these colours are made on the computer. they are not pix of the real thing.

Just like the Orange on the Borrego. It looks outstanding in person! One new thing for the US is partially leather seats on the Base EX Borrego. The LX Borrego Cloth seats are fully cloth, but the EX Borrego’s cloth seats have different cloth, and leather on the sides like K-sport does. It is really nice. Sorry, I drifted slightly off-topic.

I dont see why soul wouldnt have some of the cool stuff from Mohave. the mohave orange might look good on soul.
.
BTW,why dont I see reviewers mentioning the rear view camera of Borrego? dont they see it as a first for Kia? they should atleast like the screen in the rear view mirror!
August 30th, 2008 at 1:35 pm
It is in an option package. It is standard on limited. I think it is hilarious how ford uses steering wheel sized sensors for their vehicles, while Kia’s are penny sized, and barely noticeable!
August 30th, 2008 at 2:04 pm
only on the limited? I thought it would be on the regular. its quiet a big thing to reverse ya know…
August 30th, 2008 at 6:48 pm
It is part of the EX luxury package.
