That’s funny this budget Car you talking about came in first in Birmingham beating Toyota, Camero, Mazda 3, Mustang and others including the Civic. Now what. And the Rio will be ready to tackle the Fit, Fiesta, mazda 2, and yaris now what. The Forte Koup done that after being in that type of race after two years. The Forte may be the weakest link in Kia’s line up after seeing the new Rio but the next generation cee’d will shut you up!!! Unlike the Corolla, Sentra and Civic the Forte didn’t age because Kia made the car boring…….. It aged because the rest of Kia’s line up surpassed the Forte. So bring it on!!!! The Forte won car of the year over the Mazda3 and if the Mazda3 is still considered better, wait for the cee’d. The 1st cee’d took out the Mazda3 back in 2006 and it will do it again….. Budget Korean car my a**. We’ll see what budget means when the Kia RWD concept comes to Frankfurt and wipe out that Toyota/Subaru/Scion coupe.

I actually bought this car and I love it. Of course the no NAv is a problem but I receive Nav from my cell phone provider. strange enough I have heard people tell me it looks like a Honda Civic and also a BMW shape. I seen it and decided i wanted it. What “sold me” was the 10.5:1 compression ratio in a 4 cyl….. It’s an awesome car all around

Torque is 148 lb-ft. Why come here to b!tch about your stupid petty problems? Your name shows that you ost likely drive a WRX STI, which will definitely not roll so much in a corner. Have you driven the civic? Did you drive the Forte with the spor-tuned suspension? Don’t know? Well then you can’t make a stereotype.

Tested a 2L manual, Power nothing to boost about, it’s only 156HP. SE who served us dun even know the Torque. What a Great joke! Body roll is damn bad when hard corner. Steering too light when doing a hard corner tendency to oversteer will be greater. Value for your $ but in terms of Value for Safety is Zero. Rather go for a Civic 2L

I’m a kia service technician, and I found out today the 2.0 will have 164hp and the Forte SX will have a 2.4L, 6 speeds, 174hp. I can’t wait to see them at our dealership in march.
