I wanted a small and affordable car. Easy to maintain in the long run. Picanto fitted the bill.

I very much wanted to give it a cosy and elegant style. Is VIP a suitable description?

Small and affordable.

It’s power.

They say I’ve spend a lot of time, effort and money in it.
15. What would you advise to Kia owners who might be looking to customize their cars in future?
Decide on a theme, and work you way to it. Changing themes wastes the effort you’ve put in earlier on.
16. Do you see yourself as a Kia owner in the future?
Maybe. Maybe not.

Boris- I just noticed it from your comment. I wasn’t sure what you meant, thinking you meant Steven’s Picanto. Then I noticed the banner had the Rondo SX (concept/ show car) and changed to the Borrego. Very nice!
I really like the lights on this Picanto. It looks like you did a lot of work to the car, inside and out. Is there a noticed change in power/ torque? I heard that in Singapore you can’t have a vehicle more than 10 years old. Is that true?

For vehicles in Singapore, we have to get a Certificate of Entitlement (COE).
COE lasts for 10yrs. It can be renewed at the end of every 10yrs.

Steven: you mean, when you want to put some accessories on your car, then you have to get the certificate? Are there strict regulations on what can you do to the car or not?
BTW, your Picanto looks really attractive! I love all of the LEDs you have installed, especially those installed in the door handles!

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) is for the ownership of the vehicle.
As for lightings, any form of decorative lights is not allowed.

07 Pica is the new face-lift Pica rite? Here in Singapore, body kits for face-lift Pica is yet to be spotted. As for spoiler, it should be universal as you can use any fitting spoilers.

Dude cool car!!! impressive. just bought a picanto and was thinking of pimping it up a bit. here we dont have much choice to pimping rides, I have a trip coming up in a few weeks time to singapore, can you please advice me on the shops to get the lights and decorations. will be very greatful. thanks

i was just wondering if you could tell me how much it cost for youto do yor car up as it is EXACTLY the way iwish to do mine up….mine’s blue and as a 1st time driver i love the car to peices it’s basically my world =P
i have had a quote from my local garage a few months back and they told me that it would cost around £2o,ooo to £35,ooo in one go, but i’m choosing to go bit by bit as it dont seem to cost soo much….it will take a couple of years to have it done which i know….

Here in Germany I can hardly find tuning stuff. Do you have some advice for me?
I already have lights for Golf in it to make him unique. And some other parts too.
