I love my "new" 2009 KIA Optima. Very solidly build machine! Excellent handling & seating positions. Great feel. Great mileage. Superb driver-control interface. I couldn't be happier with this machine. Also, at 60mph, the transmission is geared so you're only turning around 1800-1900 RPM on the 2.5l engine and the torquey engine has no trouble. Extremely quiet drive too. All seats - front and aft feel great. Hydraulic lift on engine compartment hood is designed flawlessly. Exterior lighting is superb. Great machine. Love it.

The 2009 Optima is the BEST mid-size sedan I know! It has an awesome design and looks tight! It definitely beats those junky Japanese Cars!

Interesting!!! Think I`ll reserve judgement until more detail becomes available - somewhat concerned with the direction of the interior based on the little I can see - but ,who knows ? Agree with you Greg - the blue lighting in the Optima dash absolutely
beats the red hands down !

yep. The interior now looks good. It looks to have gotten just the right tweaks to make it stand out from the same old bland interiors of toyota and honda.

By looking at it, the v6 is going to be very powerful. I too want to see the Amanti but believe me this is no Amanti.
The Kue's face I think is the next Amanti. In other words, I would expect a much bigger grille.
