as a kia driver we owned together a shuma . i then bought a rio and exchanged it for a cerato lx although i like the cerato i see my other car every day as it drives past. the colour was an unusual shade of greeny yellow cant remember the technical term . My husband now drives the cerato hatch back and mines is the saloon. My next car was to be the proceed and he wanted the sporty ceed or the magentis. After seeing the new soul at first glance i thought what an ugly car but the more i looked the more i fell in love especially with the diva i am hooked. the only thing they keep saying it is aimed at the younger market well i am a young 49 yr old and this must be my change of life car lol cant wait to go to my local dealer on thursday to the show and see the interior up close it will be like sitting in a designer handbag and i also like the tatooed version

A 6-speed manual would be awesome for this car but not a deal-breaker by any means if Kia didn’t offer it. It would be a great rig with a 5-speed manual, too!

There will also be manual transmission avaliable on production Soul. I’d like to know if we get the 4 or 5 speed automatic and 5 or 6 speed manual. I’d like to see the 6speed manual or 5 speed automatic at least as an option.

Is the Kia Soul going to come in an automatic transmission only or will Kia also offer a manual? I’m thinking I read auto tranny only.
