Kia Forte MSRP Prices Go Down For 2015 Model Year

It may only amount to $10, but the $16,690 (including $800 destination charge) starting price of the Kia Forte sedan represents a drop in price over the outgoing model.

James Hope, a Kia Motors America spokesman, said the price cut was made so that the vehicle could have the lowest staring price in the segment.

It’s a little too soon to tell if this in fact will be the case, as many of the Forte’s major competitors have yet to reveal their 2015 model year pricing.

Those include the 2015 variants of the Ford Focus, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla.

The strategy being adopted by Kia is indeed an interesting one.

Kia Forte pricing 2015At the same time as they are delivering the Forte at rock-bottom prices, they are also going to work on the high end of the vehicle line-up.

Taking center stage there is the 2015 Kia K900 V8, with a starting price of $60,400, including a destination charge of $900.

US dealerships will see the 2015 Kia Forte, Forte Koup and Forte Five-Door arrive later this years.

They were all redesigned for the 2014 model year, with the 2015’s being a carryover from there.

The top of the line Forte EX starts at $20,190, including shipping, while the 5-door hatchback comes in at $20,490, including $800 destination.

That number also represents a $10 price cut over the older model.

The 2-door Kia Forte Koup is priced at $19,390 for the 2015 model year, which is also a savings of $10 over the outgoing model.
