The base LX model is jammed with features that give the customer a ton of extras that don’t require them to break the bank in order to have them.

There is even more to love on the 2014 Forte EX trim, including Kia’s UVO eServices infotainment system, rear-view camera, Driver-Selectable Steering Assist with standard, sport and comfort settings, and much more.

There are also a ton of available options to choose from, such as Leather seats, 10-way Power adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats and rear seat bottoms, keyless entry with push-button start, a heated steering-wheel and more.

Anyone that is interested in purchasing a car in the compact or midsized categories is going to want to take a look at the 2014 Kia Forte before making a final decision.

One place they will look is under the hood, with the LX model coming with a 1.8L 4-cylinder with 148-HP and a 6-speed manual and the option of a 6-speed automatic.

The EX model gets a 2.0L 4-cylinder with 173-HP engine and is only available with the 6-speed automatic transmission.

Both trims will deliver excellent gas mileage, with estimates sitting at 36 mpg highway. The exception is the LX with manual transmission, which is estimated at 37 mpg highway.

Kia fans are sure to snap this one up, but the price and the features that you get for the money are sure to be a major draw for those who have never owned a Kia before.

This will look like a bargain, especially with prices starting under way $20,000. Find 2014 Forte pricing here.
