Kia Announces 2014 Forte LX, EX Sedan Prices
Kia has always been known as a brand that delivers real value, and that’s a trend they will continue with the release of the 2014 Forte sedan.
With an MSRP of just $15,900 (plus $800 destination fee) it will be the lowest priced car in the segment.
The all-new Kia Forte 4-door sedan is lower, longer and wider than before, with an upscale design that has a definite sporty appeal. It also delivers better performance and comes with a ton of premium amenities.
The all-new Forte will hit the market in the next 30 days (at the end of April 2013)!
The 2014 Forte is available in LX and EX variants and has a couple of different engine options.
The choices are an efficient 1.8L 148-horsepower engine or a more powerful 2.0L 173-horsepower GDI unit. Fuel economy for the more potent 2,0l engine comes in at 24 mpg city/36 highway/28 combined.
There are 3 Forte models to choose from:
- the base Forte LX costs $15,900 and comes with a 1.8L engine and manual 6-speed transmission.
- The Forte LX is also available with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a base price of $17,400.
- The top of the range Forte EX comes with a 2.0L GDI engine and six-speed automatic transmission, and starts at just $19,400.
Note: The destination charge for all three Forte models is not included in the pricing above and is an additional $800.
